Safety at the Centre: Bright Play Installations Honoured at the B2B Awards 2026
Bright Play Installations was honoured with Outstanding Contribution to Soft Play Safety 2026 at the B2B Awards for treating safety as one responsibility that runs from design to installation to maintenance.
Safety is the whole chain, not one feature
According to the B2B Awards, soft play safety is the sum of design choices, construction standards, installation practice and the willingness to return and improve a site long after handover. Bright Play Installations was recognised for treating that whole chain as one responsibility.
Design and build sit under one roof
Bright Play Installations' custom layouts are developed by its own team and installed by the same people who planned them. According to the B2B Awards, that removes the gaps that open up when work is passed between several suppliers, which is where safety problems tend to appear.
Equipment is built for real use
According to the B2B Awards, Bright Play Installations considers structures for robustness and play value together, so equipment is built to withstand real use rather than simply to pass an initial inspection.
Care continues after opening
Bright Play Installations provides soft play maintenance and play area refurbishment, helping operators keep their sites in reliable condition as footfall and expectations change.
Recognised standards
Bright Play Installations' listed accreditations include BS EN 1176 (including 1176-10) and BS EN 1177 for playground equipment and surfacing, BSI Kitemark, RoSPA and RPII.
Max Broadfield said: "We are grateful to everyone who voted and we will keep safety at the centre of what we do." The company won 74% of the total vote.
